48,000 Orders Placed in First Month for New Kei Cars Developed by NMKV: Nissan Motor's "DAYZ" and Mitsubishi Motors' "eK Wagon"

On July 8, Nissan Motor Company (Nissan) and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (Mitsubishi Motors) released reports on the status of orders for the first month of sales of the Nissan DAYZ and Mitsubishi eK Wagon/eK Custom, which were placed on the market on June 6.
The Nissan DAYZ reached 30,000 units, and the Mitsubishi eK Wagon reached 18,000 units, for a total of 48,000 units ordered of models planned and developed by NMKV. Both models have made an extremely good start, significantly exceeding their respective monthly sales targets.
